If flying, Dehradun's Jolly Grant Airport will be your closest point, located about 200 kilometres from Uttarkashi, accessble via road from there. If travelling by train, get off at either Rishikesh or Haridwar and then make your way to Uttarkashi via road. Once you commence the trek at Sangamchatti, the first 6 to 8 kilometres will have you encounter mixed forests and villages along the Asi Ganga river to arrive at the camping spots in Agoda or Bebra, to catch your breath. The remainder of the trail will take you via the Manjhi settlement before you finally arrive at the freshwater vision of wonder, located 3,024 metres above sea level.
