In the months that followed, the actor has been in and out of making headlines, marking career milestones and vocally sharing memories she's been making with their 6-year-old daughter Tara. The biggest plot twist of her year, career-wise however, came when it was revealed she will be participating in the 20th season of Indian prime time reality television staple, Bigg Boss. About a week in the house, her controversial takes and on-the-chin demeanour has once again, affirmatively put the spotlight on her. Here's taking a peek into the 'Tu Tu Hai Wahi' music video icon's Mumbai house she spent the year turning into a home, post her divorce. Back in January, Mahhi shared a glimpse of a puja being held in her new Mumbai home, an intimate affair with just family members present. It was the ultimate marker of her starting a new life. While she has spent much of this year taking up new work opportunities and travelling abroad to vacation spots like London and Dubai with daughter Tara in tow, between all the Instagram updates there are small glimpses of what it's like when it's just her and her baby at home - and it's a beautiful space indeed. Wide and spacious, it's cream-toned walls make for the perfect canvas t capture Mumbai's resplendent sunsets on the daily - not to mention, a great spot for an impromptu photo op! This picture of hers with their family dog Kaju is proof. Framed with wooden details and matching dark upholstery, an abstract painting signaling the tree of life really brings the space together. Further into the house, the cream walls continue into what appears to be Mahhi's vanity space, only the smooth textures stand replaced with neatly stacked exposed brick. An asymmetrical mirror embellished with lights, framed in with dark wooden accents, completes one of the most aesthetic corners of her house. Natural is evidently very important for Mahhi as glimpses of her home capture full length windows with mirrors strategically placed in front of them, to give a more spacious, airy sense to the rooms.
